Buckeye Village Parking Guidelines

As a resident of Buckeye Village, you will have a designated parking space (one space per apartment) in the court parking lot near your apartment building.

If you have a second family vehicle, you may park it at the Village parking lot a short distance away. All vehicles must be registered with the Buckeye Village office. Each family may keep no more than two vehicles in the lots at Buckeye Village. Unregistered or otherwise illegally parked vehicles are subject to towing at the owner's expense.

Buckeye Village Parking Guidelines:
As a resident of Buckeye Village I understand...

1. Where my household parking space is located.
2. I can leave one (1) vehicle in my assigned space. Any second vehicle in my possession must remain in the parking lot of the Village parkling lot.
3. My lease prohibits a third vehicle parked in Buckeye Village.
4. Any vehicle that are out of service or vehicles that are unsafe on Buckeye Village property will be towed at the expense of the owner. This follows a city ordinance.
5. A hangtag will be provided for each registered vehicle and must be clearly displayed.
6. All vehicles parked in Buckeye Village must have their state vehicle regristration current. vehicles without current regristration plates or tags will be towed at the owner's expense.
7. There are two types of visitor spaces For Visitors Only:
   1. Short-term: Parking in court areas for no more than a 3-hour time frame. These spaces are marked with the letter "V". Residents are not permitted to park in these spaces at any time.
   2. Long-term: Parking in the recreation center lot (requires a temporary permit available at the BV office or recreation center).
   3. Spaces in the courts marked with an "M" are for motorcycles only. Cars parked in these spaces will be towed.
8. The laundry facility parking area is ONLY for residents using the laundry facility.
   There is a two-hour time limit for these spaces.
9. My car will be towed if it is found in any other resident's parking space.
10. My vehicle MUST be registered. Without the proper registration, my vehicle will be towed.
11. Any vehicle in violation may be towed without warning. Any warnings issued are a courtesy. All records of warnings and towings are kept by license plate number and also by hangtag number.
12. Parking assistant (PAs) have the right and authority to issue any warnings and authorize the towing of my vehicle if it is found that I have violated the parking policy
13. I can directly contact the Buckeye Village Office between 8am and 12am, Monday-Friday, and 12pm to 12am Saturday and Sunday to report any violations or concerns regarding the parking policy. The BV Office number is 292-6561.
14. Residents will be charged a $10.00 replacement fee for any unreturned hangtags.
15. Any changes in my registration should be immediately reported to the Buckeye Village Office.
16. If I move, I must relinquish my hangtag to the Buckeye Village Office. Vehicles parked in Buckeye Village with hangtags from former residents will be towed.
17. If I am parked in ANY tow-away zones, I will be towed immediately without any warning. A tow-away zone is any place that is not designated as a parking space.
18. Buckeye Village does not assume any responsibility for any damage to a vehicle or the theft of any vehicle.
19. I must obtain a Visitor's Parking Pass, free of charge, from the Buckeye Village Office any of my visitors who will be parking in the Village parking lot. Any cars parked in the Recreation Parking lot that do not display a Buckeye Village hangtag or Visitors' Parking Pass will be towed at the owner's expense.
